Past projects include office business parks, residential facilities, warehouses, schools, municipal works such as underground utilities and multi-use pathways, and industrial facilities. In recent years, Carl has provided geotechnical engineering and project management for several major projects, including expansion at a port material handling and loading facility, the role of geotechnical Engineer-of-Record for a major petrochemical expansion project in Burnaby, and a role as a geotechnical lead for a major bridge replacement project underway in the Lower Mainland.
Carl joined Active Earth in 2021 and is working with the Geotechnical Team in expanding the services provided on both geotechnical and multi-disciplinary projects.
In his free time, Carl enjoys outdoor activities that include “mud races” and cross-country races, spending time with his teenage daughter, and travelling to new and exciting places around the world.
