Jeff is a registered Professional Engineer with a degree in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia. He has nearly 20 years of experience undertaking environmental site assessments and planning and implementing remedial strategies. Jeff worked for Environment Canada in their pollution prevention, contaminated sites, and environmental emergencies programs.

Jeff is highly experienced in project and program management, and provides senior technical review at Active Earth. He has led several large-scale remediation projects, and has worked with the B.C. Ministry of Environment over the past several years to characterize Vancouver’s False Creek Flats as an Area Wide Historical Contamination issue. As a Contaminated Sites Approved Professional, he is able to facilitate obtaining Ministry of Environment legal instruments. His clients include Developers, Municipalities, and Provincial Government Departments.

Jeff is a father of three young boys and a former athlete. He now enjoys coaching his kids’ soccer and baseball teams. Other hobbies include CrossFit, paddle boarding, and scuba diving. Jeff has been a Principal with Active Earth since 2008.
