Maia joined Active Earth in 2021 as a Data Technician. She graduated from the University of Victoria with a BSc in Biology, where she mainly focused on zoology and ecology.

Maia has experience in data analysis and management, and she is excited to use her skills at Active Earth to support her colleagues in their environmental assessments.

When Maia isn’t working, she enjoys bird watching, wildlife photography, and travelling to exciting new places, whether it be in her own backyard or across the oceans.
